I am a native Californian, having grown up in Redondo Beach and the South Bay. I attended award-winning West High School and graduated 6 months early, eager to nurture my entrepreneurial spirit. After passing and receiving my real estate license at the age of 20, it didn’t take long for me to realize that that career path was not for me.
A short time later, I ran into an old high school friend who told me her sister ran a court reporting agency and “Loves it!” What is court reporting, I thought.
That very week in 1988 I signed up at South Coast College of Court Reporting, having no idea what I was getting myself into… the career of my dreams! What a blessing! I spent only two short years in school and then I was on my way to becoming the best court reporter I could be.
After a couple years working with a few different court reporting agencies, I decided it was time to start my own firm so that I could provide the highest quality products and services directly to clients the way I knew it should be done! I have proudly been doing this since 1993.
Over two decades later, I continue to have an intense passion and love for the work I do, and because of this, my clients benefit from outstanding, personal service which is unparalleled in the industry. I am a hands-on business owner! Because I know this business requires it at times, I am personally available to my clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In order to control unnecessary and frivolous costs to the client, I do not engage in hidden “extras” or “add-ons,” a technique which is commonly practiced within the industry. I personally invoice each job ensuring that my client receives the lowest cost possible.
I have extensive experience in taking labor law depositions, as well as real estate, business and contract cases. Having taken many arbitrations, I am skilled and comfortable in that environment as well; however, I am able to support all types of litigation.
I have been a California Certified Court Reporter since 1991 (CSR# 8900). I also hold the national designation RPR, which I achieved in 1996. In addition, I became a Nevada Certified Court Reporter (#756) in March of 2002. And proudly, I am also a California Certified Real Time Reporter, a designation of which only the elite hold.
